1977 Aug. Nittetsu Shoji Co., Ltd. established with paid-in capital of 50 million yen as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nippon Steel Corporation. Yoshiharu Iimura, ex-managing director of Nippon Steel Corporation, named president and representative director.
Sept. Kotaro Nakano, ex-managing director of Nippon Steel Corporation, named president and representative director.
Nov. Nittetsu Shoji absorbs Osaka Kozai Co., Ltd. and Irimaru Sangyo Co., Ltd., and paid-in capital increased to 2.3 billion yen.
1983 Jun. Kanae Harada, ex-executive vice president of Nippon Steel Corporation, named board chairman and representative director; Nobuyoshi Teranishi, ex-executive vice president of Nippon Steel Corporation, named president and representative director; Eishiro Saito named director and adviser, retaining the post as board chairman of Nippon Steel Corporation.
1984 Aug. The head office moved to Toshiba Building, Shibaura, Minato-ku, Tokyo.

1991 Jun. Shuichi Kimura, ex-executive vice president of Nippon Steel Corporation, named president and representative director, and Teranishi to serve as board chairman and representative director only.
Oct. The company listed on the Osaka Securities Exchange's Second Section.
1993 Jun. Minoru Sato, ex-executive vice president of Nippon Steel Corporation, named president and representative director.
1994 Jan. Paid-in capital increased to 11,977.85 million yen.
Sept. The head office moved to Nittetsu ND Tower,Kameido,Koto-ku,Tokyo.
1997 Jun. Toshio Miki, former-executive vice president of Nippon Steel Corporation, named board chairman and representative director, and Kazuhiko Fukuda, ex-managing director of Nippon Steel Corporation, named president and representative director.
1999 July. Official English name was changed to Nippon Steel Trading Co., Ltd.
2001 Apr. Tomio Yoshizawa, former ex-managing director of Nippon Steel Corporation, named president and representative director.
2002 July. Paid-in capital decreased, and increased to 5,000 million yen.
Oct. Paid-in capital increased to 6,250 million yen.
2003 Mar. Paid-in capital increased to 8,750 million yen.
Dec. The Company applied to delist on the Osaka Securities Exchange.(voluntarily delisted Feb.2004)
2005 Jun. Seiki Miyamoto, former executive vice president of Nippon Steel Corporation, named president and representative director.
July. The head office moved to Shin-Otemachi Building,Otemachi,Chiyoda-ku,Tokyo.
2009 Jun. Tetsuo Imakubo, former exective vice president of Nippon Steel Corporation, named president and representative director.
2010 Apr. The company listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange's First Section.
