Domestically, our sales efforts have focused on meeting local needs through carefully nurtured relationships with manufacturers and end users. We achieved this by sharing our production and distribution strategy for each type of steel material with Nippon Steel Corporation and its group companies.
To meet structural changes in distribution for users who launched businesses overseas, we built coil centers in China, Thailand and Vietnam. We also expanded steel distribution both in Japan and overseas. Our close links between both manufacturers and end users have grown even stronger as we have solidified operations in the United States, Southeast Asia, China, Middle east and India.
